  1. David Luscumb Says:

The Shack could be any person’s life where tragedy may challenge their faith and their preception of God. When tragedy hits us all, our human emotion lashes out, especially toward God because we want answers that do not always come in the we thought. Look at the many non profit organizations that benifit families today. Most were created out of some type of tragedy. Those mothers and fathers were determin that such tragedy did not have to happen to other caring families. But not one person in these tragedies were ever alone in their despair or “the great sadness” God was with them every step of the way.

God always finds a way to bring healing to our lives and is never limited in his purpose and can take what was meant for evil and make something good out of it. We have to submit to his Will and purpose regardless of the cards dealt to us in life. The book can teach people to understand that God will not forsake us or will not punish us. Rather he wants the best for us and loves us no more or less than he did for his son Jesus.

Thanks for challenging our feeble religion and encourage all of us to learn to enter into His rest. Forgiveness can change the universe and showing kindess can change the world.
